Every hard drive is a graveyard of final_v3_REALLY.png. Assets that sort themselves were a category with no precedent; nobody had drawn the primitives yet.

The primitive is Liquid Metal, a parts library loose enough to prototype any surface fast; the Z index, a way to stack interface in depth instead of pretending the screen is flat.
